These New Generation Screw Top Buckets will revolutionize the way you store and use your food storage. These buckets are easy to open and close. All you do is squeeze the red tab while you screw the lid down or while you unscrew. These buckets provide easy access to food without having to pry open the lid. They have a strong gasketed seal for long-term storage. Plastic buckets may be used to store food commodities that are dry (about 10 percent moisture or less) and low in oil content. Only buckets made of food-grade plastic with gaskets in the lid seals should be used. These buckets are brand new and have never been used. This two-part lid transforms a standard plastic bucket into a rugged, gasketed, resealable storage container that's both air-tight and water-tight. Just snap the outer ring down onto your bucket. The threaded lid turns easily with molded-in grip bars. These lids are heavy duty for years and years of service. The ring has a polymer gasket where it seats against the lid of your bucket, and the threaded lid has another polymer gasket, giving the container an air-tight, water-tight seal that excludes not only such freeloaders as mice and insects, but moisture too.
Plain Lid w/ Tear Tab $1.49
This plain gasketed lid can be used on the 3.5 Gallon, 5 Gallon or 6.5 Gallon Buckets. It has a strong gasketed seal and is designed for long-term food storage. Once the original ring is removed it doesn't have the same original seal. It will still cover the bucket quite well but a new lid would be needed if long-term storage is again desired.

MylarFoil Silver Bag 20x30 $ 1.99
This is a food grade Mylar Bag that fits the 5 gallon and 6.5 gallon buckets. These bags are used for optimal food storage protection and are best used with oxygen absorbers prior to sealing to form a protective vacuum. Mylar is an extremely strong material that does not tear easily but can be punctured by sharp objects. Thus, it is designed to be protected by a hard container.
Mylar is an industrial trademarked brand name that is often confusing. In its basic form, mylar is a CLEAR material made from polyester resin. IMPAK produces MylarFoil bags used in a wide range of industries which require moisture and oxygen barriers to ensure product integrity. Polyester film, ('mylar') when laminated to aluminum foil provides additional barrier properties and higher puncture resistance than any metallized polyester structure.

Oxygen Absorbers
Pack of 50 $9.99
This package of oxygen absorbers features 50 (Fifty) of the 300cc oxygen absorber packets. Once the original package is opened, the unused packets must immediately be put into another air tight package. The remaing packets can be re-sealed using a food saver machine or seal-a-meal machine. A small mason jar with a new canning lid also works well. When used with proper packaging and sealing, the oxygen in the packaging is greatly reduced. These absorbers bring the oxygen level down reliably to .01% or less. Use one packet per gallon. Be sure they aren't in the air for too long (20 minutes at the most and then hey need to be re-sealed).
